So, what happens when life does hand us a poop popsicle? Maybe you’re a single mother and you just lost your job. Perhaps, you have an unfavorable medical report that is causing sleepless nights. Maybe you just feel like you can’t catch a break and your life is just a hot mess.
While it is understandable to be upset and fearful we don’t have to be. It is not God’s plan for us to be fearful and anxious for anything. We are called to pray and give thanks for all that God has already done for us. (Philippians 4:6) He didn’t have to wake us up today but He did.
We don’t have to be prisoners of fear. By developing a relationship with God He will provide comfort and give us the peace of mind we all truly desire. He ensures that He has our back and will never leave us. (Deuteronomy 31:6) He is faithful and loves us more than we will ever be able to understand!
He can always provide a way for us and gives us what we need. (Philippians 4:19) However, we have to develop a strong relationship with Him and make that relationship a priority in our life. Comfort can only come from God. So, seeking people, things or money to get comfort is a waste of time. We will never find true comfort and peace of mind outside of God.
We cannot let the enemy steal our joy and destroy our spirit. We don’t have to suffer. Jesus came so that we may live our life to the fullest. (John 10:10)
Whatever you are going through remember it shall pass. We need to believe deep down inside that it is all going to be OK because it is. All things work together for our good.(Romans 8:28)
My prayer for you is that God gives you comfort through this trial of your life and He reveals a solution for you so that you can experience victory in your life today, tomorrow and the rest of your life. In Jesus’ name …AMEN!
Mark 11:24 – “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
